The phrase "You have" is used 14 times in the book of mormon. While the phrase "thou hast" is used 127 times. Because the phrase "thou hast" was only commonly used during the 1600's it would have been a better choice to use the phrase "you have" as it would be easier for the reader to understand the sentences. Whatever the answer this phrase is either a mistake or needs clarification regarding its meaning. Perhaps Joseph Smith meant to say "people of the land" or "inhabitants of the land" which are both phrases found in the king james bible although neither phrase is found in the book of mormon.
